Schumacher SSC-1500A Ship ‘n Shore SpeedCharge Charger with included 75amp battery clamps

If you want a versital battery charger with a built in Desulfator this is a Great choice.  I know of no other Charger in this price range that can compete  feature for feature.  It will Charge Flooded lead acid, Deep cycle and Gel cells. I have used this charger and it is by far my favorite. The only complaints is that sometimes the fan is a little noisy. I can usually just bump it a little and it will quite down. I did call and get an RMA to send it back but have not done it yet as it has not been that bad. Customer support was very good and they did not hesitate to offer to repair or replace it.

The reason I bought this charger was for the built in desulfator. This is a great feature but it is not designed for badly sulfated batteries. It will help with keeping new batteries from getting sulfated and repairing mildly sulfated batteries. Get a dedicated desulfator for most sulfated batteries. I use the Battery Life Saver BLS-12/24B 12 & 24 Volt Battery Desulfator and it works quite will. I charge about 2 amps for 4 hours and then let the Battery Life Saver discharge the battery for 20 hours to cycle it every 24 hours. Sometimes it takes several weeks to bring back a heavily sulfated battery.

So if you have an ATX power supply with the usual 4-pin connector for those extra 12 volts to the CPU, right? And you want to upgrade or you just bought a new board, but you can’t plug that 4-pin connector into an 8-pin 12-volt socket. Then you need to adapt! Use this handy cable to keep everything copacetic! OK after reading the manual, most of these new boards will allow you to plug your 4 pin 12 volt plug into the 8 pin motherboard socket. I still like to use the adapter.

Don’t forget that if you are doing an upgrade most older systems use IDE DVD’s and CD’s. Here is a nice SATA to include in your order as most newer boards do not have IDE options. Just a thought so you don’t get your new system put together and not have a DVD or CD to install the operating sytsem.

How to prevent thinning hair and hair loss in women.

I watched the Dr Oz show today and he was talking about thinning hair in women and how to prevent it.  He recommended several products.  Minoxidil was the first he suggested.  The lady that was helping him said she had never thought of using it because she thought it was for Men.

The other two supplements were Primrose and Blackcurrent oil.  He said to take 500mg twice a day of one or the other.   Dr Ox said these have shown that they have helped in preventing thinning hair.

How to clean a stained whiteboard

Dampen a clean, paper towel with isopropyl alcohol. Only use a small amount, don’t completely saturate the paper towel, as you will want to use it sparingly. Too much can dull the surface of the whiteboard.

Never use water, heavy duty spray cleaners or detergents to clean a dry erase board. Water will destroy the finish, rendering the whiteboard unusable

Remove as much marker as you can with the eraser before you clean with the isopropyl alcohol. Gently rub the paper towel over the surface of the whiteboard to remove the marker stains. Flip the paper towel over, and add another small amount of the isopropyl alcohol to the other side if it starts to become dirty. Repeat the process using as many paper towels as necessary to remove the stains. Always work with a clean paper towel to avoid further smudging of the whiteboard with the old ink.

Dry the whiteboard thoroughly with another clean paper towel. Any left over alcohol that is left on the whiteboard will dull it, so be sure to remove it all.

Apply a small amount of wax to the whiteboard. Any type of car wax will do, I had some old turtle wax in the garage and it worked very well,  but you only need to use a little. With a clean paper towel, take a small amount, and apply it over the entire surface of the whiteboard.

Buff the whiteboard with a soft cloth to ensure a slick surface for future use. Working in circular motions, wipe the cloth over the whiteboard to remove any excess wax. You will want to achieve a shiny, glossy like finish, without any excess wax remaining.

Use the whiteboard as usual with dry erase markers, and remember to wipe the surface with a felt eraser, following every use. “Rinse and Repeat” after heavy use or whenever staining becomes an issue. “Rinse and Repeat” was a joke in case you didnt’ get it, as that is what is says on most shampoo bottles…. hmmm do they really need to tell us that.   Oh well you get the idea.

Hope that helps, it has worked many times for me and you can take an old whiteboard and make it look new again.
